إعلان الفائزين في "تحدي الصفاء للشواء" في نسخته الخامسة
Over 50 barbecue teams from across the nation battled it out at the ‘A’Saffa BBQ Challenge 5’, Oman’s most prestigious barbecue cooking competition; that was held over the weekend at the Civil Aviation Club. Due to the overwhelming response and participation, the competition was divided into two groups, with winners being declared from both the groups in equal numbers, in order so as to encourage the participants.
شهدت إحدى أكبر مسابقات الشوي للعائلات بالسلطنة "تحدي الصفاء للشوي" في نسختها الخامسة المقام في نادي الطيران المدني بالعذيبة بمشاركة 50 عائلة، وذلك في عطلة نهاية الأسبوع. ونظرا للتفاعل الكبير الذي شهدته المسابقة هذا العام، فقد تم تقسيم المشاركين إلى مجموعتين وأيضا إختيار عدد متساو من الفائزين من كل مجموعة ليصبح بذلك 6 فائزين بواقع 3فائزين يتم إختيارهم من كل مجموعة وذلك لتشجيع المشاركات في النسخ المقبلة من المسابقة.
The perfect opportunity to showcase one’s barbecue culinary skills, and an appetizing family barbecue getaway; the winning teams at the competition were judged by renowned Omani Chef Malik and his team, who declared Leo & Jeo (Team No – 19) as the winners, Saima Zafar(Team No – 06) as the 1st runners-up and Araffnns (Team No – 03) as the 2nd runners-up from Group A; and Tunisian (Team No – 42) as the winners, and Narmawala's (Team No – 40) as the 1st runners-up and Muscateers (Mr. Yathesh&Mrs. Anju) (Team No – 39) as the 2nd runners-up from Group B. For the best presentation, Smoking BBQ (Mrs. Nija) (Team No - 11) won the prize.
يعد تحدي الباربكيو فرصة لإبراز المهارات في الشوي ولقضاء أمتع الأوقات مع العائلة، وتم تقييم الفائزين من قبل الشيف العماني المشهور – مالك الجهضمي وفريقه .وبهذا تم إعلان فوز ليو وجيو (فريق رقم 19)، وتم تتويج سيماء ظافر (فريق رقم - 6) في المركز الأول، وأرفينس (فريق رقم 3) في المركز الثاني من المجموعة ألف، كما أعلن عن فوز التونسيون (فريق رقم - 42)، وتوج نارماواليس (فريق رقم - 40) بالمركز الأول والمسقطيون (فريق رقم - 39) بالمركز الثاني من المجموعة باء. كما فاز سموكنج باربكيو( فريق- 11) بجائزة أفضل تقديم.
Two fully-dressed chicken were provided to each team by A’Saffa at the competition. For their convenience, participants were asked to bring their own barbecue sets, coal, fuel, skewers, spices and culinary ware. The families received points based on: Taste, Recipe Innovation, Recipe originality, Cooking Hygiene and Preparation, and Presentation.
وفي المسابقة، وفرت الصفاء لكل فريق دجاجتين غير منزوعة العظم أو الجلد أثناء المسابقة. كما طُلب من المتسابقين جلب معداتهم الخاصة للشوي، الفحم، الوقود، الأسياخ، البهارات وأواني الطهي. تم منح النقاط لكل عائلة مشاركة وفق: الطعم، الوصفة، الابتكار، أصالة الوصفة، جودة الطبخ والإعداد وأخيراً التقديم. كما شهد الحدث أيضا ركن خاص من "نادي الأطفال" وتوزيع لمنتجات الصفاء وعروض مميزة مثل الرسم على الوجوه وألعاب متنوعة وموسيقى للأطفال، إلى جانب العروض وتقديم الكثير من المرح بينما عائلاتهم مشاركون في المسابقة.
The event also witnessed a specially designed Atfal Club Kids Corner with an A’Saffa food spread, magic show, face-painting, games, music for kids; and traditional Omani performances and a whole lot of cooking fun for the adults.
