يحيى بعبود يتوج بطلا لبطولة الصفاء للغولف لعام 2019
Under the patronage of Eng Hamoud bin Mohammed al Mahrouqi, Director, Royal Installations Affairs, Royal Court Affairs, A’Saffa Foods, SAOG., Oman’s largest fully integrated poultry project, recently organized the ‘A’Saffa Golf Tournament 2019’ at the Ghala Golf Club course. An 18-hole competition in stableford format, the tournament was open to all golfers with a registered handicap in the Sultanate.
تحت رعاية سعادة المهندس حمود المحروقي رئيس شؤون المنشأت السلطانية أختتمت "بطولة الصفاء للغولف" النسخة الخامسة لعام 2019 والتي أقامتها الصفاء للأغذية في نادي غلا للغولف. وتعد مسابقة التسديد الفردي (18 حفرة) مفتوحة لجميع لاعبي الغولف المسجلين في مباريات الهانديكاب في السلطنة.
Yahya Baabood was declared ‘Champion’ of this year’s A’Saffa Golf Tournament, with an impressive score of 43 Nett. The tournament witnessed the participation of over 100 avid golfers. Talal Al Balushi who scored an incredible 41 Nett score was the first runner-up, followed by Srinivas Habber, who was declared second runner-up with a Nett score of 39 points. The ladies division was won by Ave Peetri with a score of 34 Nett, and the junior division was won by Nasih Al Barwani with a Nett score of 44 points. ‘Nearest to the pin’ was won by Ali Hameed.
وقد حصل يحيى بعبود جائزة بطل بطولة هذا العام بتسجيله ل 43 نقطة والتي شارك فيها أكثر عن 100 لاعب غولف، بينما فاز طلال البلوشي بالمركز الأول ب 41 نقطة، يليه سرينيفاس هابر بالمركز الثاني ب39نقطة. أما بالنسبة لبطولة السيدات، فقد فازت بها آفي بيتري بتسجيلها ل34 نقطة، بينما فاز ببطولة الناشئين ناصح البرواني بتسجيل 44 نقطة. كما فاز علي حميد بجائزة
“الأقرب إلى الحفرة".
Congratulating the winners on their victories, Eng Mohammed Suhail al Shanfari, CEO of A’Saffa Foods explained, “We are appreciative of all the hard work and dedication that goes into this tournament, and are elated that the golfing community came together once again this year to be a part of it. Apart from thanking those who participated and made this year’s tournament a success, I would like to thank the Ghala Golf Club for hosting the game at their world-class facility”.
و قال المهندس محمد بن سهيل الشنفري، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة الصفاء للأغذية، مهنئاً الفائزين:
"نحن نقدر كل العمل الدؤوب والتفاني المبذول لنجاح هذه البطولة نظراً للقبول الذي تحظى به البطولة سنةً بعد سنة. و أود هنا أن أوجه كل الشكر إلى جميع المشاركين الذين ساهموا في نجاح الحدث لهذا العام، وإلى نادي غلا للغولف على استضافتهم للبطولة هذه السنة وتوفيرهم للخدمات ذات الطراز العالمي."

The A’Saffa brand has been associated with pure, tasty food and healthy living since the time of its inception, and through the A’Saffa Golf Tournament we will continue to promote healthy choices through the game of golf”, elucidated Hamdoon Al Suqri, Acting Head of Marketing & Sales, A’Saffa Foods on the sidelines of the presentation ceremony.
و أضاف الفاضل حمدون الصقري ، القائم بأعمال مدير التسويق بالصفاء للأغذية :
"تهدف البطولة إلى رفع مستوى الوعي بهذه الرياضة في المجتمع العُماني إلى جانب كونها مظلة تجمع لاعبي الجولف من ذوي المهارة. وتروّج هذه البطولة التي تقوم الصفاء بتنظيمها سنوياً لهذه القيم والمبادئ من خلال حدث رياضي وصحي وممتع في ذات الوقت. وأيضا تأكيد الصفاء على ضمان جودة منتجاتها وتأمين الغذاء السليم للمجتمع."
Post the tournament; players were greeted with a delicious A’Saffa barbeque spread. The event came to close with a dinner gala for participants and other special invitees.
وبجانب حفل الختام، تم إقامة حفل شواء بإستخدام منتجات الصفاء، و تناول المدعوين والمشاركين وجبة العشاء.
