A’Saffa’s 2019 Corporate Calendar features promising Omani sporting talents

تقويم الصفاء للأغذية لعام 2019 يكرم المواهب الصاعدة

A’Saffa Foods, Oman’s largest fully integrated poultry, snacks, and allied foods company has built its reputation and success on strong corporate values, community kinship and an uncompromising focus on quality products. In keeping with this, the company’s 2019 calendar is a tribute to the hard-working, dedicated and ambitious young Omanis aspiring to make an impression on the sports field.

في إطار إلتزاماتها نحو المجتمع، وحرصها على دعم نجاحات المواهب العمانية وتحفيزهم نحو تحقيق مزيد من الإنجازات، كشفت شركة الصفاء للاغذية ـ أكبر مشروع متكامل للدواجن والتصنيع الغذائي في السلطنة ـ عن التقويم السنوي الجديد للشركة لعام 2019 والذي يستعرض عدد من المواهب العمانية الرياضية الصاعدة في مختلف الرياضات.

The calendar has been conceptualized under the theme – ‘Taste of Success’, and features 12 up and coming Omani talents from different sporting spheres. Through the calendar, A’Saffa Foods aims to applaud and pay tribute to their quest for the taste of success.

ويسلط التقويم الجديد، الذي حمل عنوان " طعم النجاح"، الضوء على 12 موهبة عمانية، حيث تسعى الشركة من وراء هذه الخطوة إلى غرس روح التنافس في أوساط الشباب، ودفعهم نحو الانتصارات ومنصات التتويج، من خلال  إبراز مواهبهم، وقدراتهم، وتحفيزهم نحو تحقيق المزيد من الانجازات والنجاحات.

Sulaiman bin Ahmed bin Said Al Aisary, Graduate of Al Fares Equestrian Training School; and one of the youngest budding talents to be featured in the calendar said: "I want to thank A’Saffa Foods for featuring me in the 2019 calendar. I’m extremely happy and feel encouraged. In the future, I want to represent Oman in international equestrian competitions.”

قال  سليمان بن أحمد بن سعيد العيسري، خريج معهد الفارس لتدريب الفروسية، والذي يعد أحد أصغر المواهب الصاعدة التي يستعرضها التقويم الجديد" أشكر شركة الصفاء للأغذية على إدراجي ضمن تقويمها السنوي لعام 2019، لفتة رائعة من القائمين على الشركة لتحفيز المواهب الواعدة، ستترك هذه الخطوة أثر كبير في نفوسنا نحو تحقيق مزيد من النجاحات، وستحفز فينا روح المنافسة لتمثيل عمان بالصورة التي تليق بها في المحافل الدولية المختلفة، ومنها مسابقات الفروسية الدولية".

Ali Talib Al Rahbi, a talented Football Player who plays in the Junior League, and has also made it into the Calendar commented: “Thank you for carrying my picture. I’m proud to have represented Oman in football academies around the world; and will continue to work hard, given this motivation from A’Saffa Foods.”

كما عّبر علي بن طالب الرحبي، أحد الموهوبين الرياضيين في دوري كرة القدم للمبتدئين عن سعادته بهذه الخطوة وقال " اشعر بالفخر في أن أمثل السلطنة في أكاديميات كرة القدم في جميع أنحاء العالم، سوف استمر في العمل الجاد من أجل أن أرفع راية عمان على منصات التتويج العالمية، ستمنحني مبادرة الصفاء للأغذية بعد أختياري ضمن المواهب الـ 12 على صدر صفحات تقويمها السنوي، مزيد من الثقة في نفسي نحو تحقيق مزيد من النجاحات والانجازات".

We have never looked at what’s in it for the company, and have always focused on what will take sports ahead in Oman, and at helping individuals within and outside the A’Saffa Foods realize their sporting ambitions”, averred Hamdoon Al Suqri, the Acting Head of Marketing and Sales at A’Saffa Foods.

وفي ذات السياق أكد الفاضل حمدون الصقري، القائم بأعمال رئيس قسم التسويق في الصفاء للأغذية سعي الشركة الدؤوب ولأكثر من 15 عاما لخلق قيمة محلية مضافة داخل البلاد ، وقال "نسعى إلى إكساب المجتمع عادات صحية من خلال إلتزامنا بدعم الرياضة والرياضيين، والتركيز على ما يحتاجه الرياضيون في عُمان.  كما نسعى على الدوام لمساعدة الأفراد داخل وخارج شركة الصفاء للأغذية لتحقيق طموحاتهم وأهدافهم الرياضية."

Encouraging and inculcating the love of sports is an integral part of A’Saffa foods’ corporate philosophy. The company’s commitment towards the promotion of sports is manifested through diverse annual sporting competitions organized by the company in lieu of football, golf and more.
